How Pleo Spends His Days

Pleo may be less energetic than a usual pet but he is so lovely walking around your home. He is very curious and will do all he can to get to know his environment. Light and dark, different tonalities of sounds and any kind of movement will be perceived by this little robotic toy due to the sensors placed in different parts of his body.

Though he is theoretically able to take care of himself, Pleo needs a lot of attention and with proper care he will turn into a very nice ‘living creature’ in your home. You can stimulate him by calling his name and uttering different sounds. He will always respond to such stimuli as he is endowed with sharp hearing and vigilant eyes.

Pleo likes to play with you; he will react every time you touch him and talk to him, will turn his head to hear you better and see you. With a fully charged battery he will play for up to 90 minutes (more than you can) but eventually he will get tired and need some sleep. Let him sleep while his battery is recharged. Curled-up dreaming Pleo looks as cute as he does while awake. However, if you try waking him up, he will respond, always showing how tired he is and you won’t have a heart to insist.

Just like your cat or dog, Pleo needs something to munch and the leaf that was created for this purpose will give him moments of joy. You will be delighted to hear him purr contentedly any time he can bite his leaf. If you place your finger in his mouth, he will bite you too acknowledging your presence. Touch him gently on his back and he will show how happy he is by the way he moves.

If you have any pets in the house, you must be very careful. One can never know how a cat or a dog may react to this strange creature walking freely about the house. Though several owners of cats and dogs have tested their pets’ reactions to this robotic toy and claim there is nothing one should worry about, a little caution will make you feel better and Pleo safer.
